FACTS AND PEDIGREE
Turning four in 2003, Arctic White became the first new white stallion of the
new millennium and the only Jockey Club registered white Thoroughbred stallion
in North America.
He
is a spectacular pure brilliant white (sabino).
By Kentucky bred Airdrie Apache, he
boasts a pedigree that includes Mr. Prospector, Tom
Fool, Not Quite White, Native Dancer,
Nashua, Bold Ruler, Northern
Dancer, Hail To Reason and even back
to War Admiral
and Princequillo.
Arctic White has strong influences from the Native Dancer line.
His dam, Tropicana Anna, is a daughter of champion sire "Raise
A Man", who is by the great "Raise A Native". Her dam, Kiln,
produced multiple stakes horses and was out of Open Fire a G1 stakes winner. Tropicana
Anna has produced several colored thoroughbreds
including the double registered Air to Apache and the white filly Arcticanna.
Tropicana Anna was nominated to the Breeder's Cup.

Journal by Charles Rangle (c) 2003 Shadow Mountain Stables
In addition to being a registered Thoroughbred a small patch of dark skin INSIDE
his ears qualifies him for full registration with the American Paint Horse
Association (APHA) which registers Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred Paints.
Therefore, his registered foals are eligible for APHA papers. White sabino thoroughbreds are not known
to carry the "lethal white" gene of frame
Overos ("OLWS".)
Arctic White now has produced several foals; and,
as expected he is a throwing pure white and patterned Paint Thoroughbreds! Born to chestnut mares, a white
filly and a white colt were born in 2004 in Oregon and Texas. Arctic's first
foal born to Gina's Cricket at Shadow Mountain Stables was a spectacular black colt with
high white socks.
UPDATE: At least three owners of Arctic White progeny have
indicated plans to enter them in the 2008/2009 World Paint Show! Good
Luck!
HERE ARE SOME OF ARCTIC WHITE'S FOALS:
Arctic White's first foal, a white colt, born in Oregon
Arctic White's second white foal born in Texas.
The third foal is
black with lots of flashy white, proving Arctic White will not only
throw white, but patterned Paints.
Arctic White 's fourth
foal...a beautiful chestnut colt with white legs and underbelly
out of CR Fancy Dancer,
the double registered TB/Paint great granddaughter of BOLD RULER, NIJINSKY, and
KHALED .
Arctic
Night, the black 2004 colt out of Ginas Cricket
A
spectacular White Thoroughbred from Arctic White, Arctic
Heat (aka 'Max') born on August 2, 2005 in
California out of Royal Reve by Regalberto.
June 22, 2005 Another sensational TB colt from Arctic White and
Gina's Cricket.

May 23, 2006, another WHITE colt from
Arctic White and Seashell N Sharkie.
Arctic White's can produce patterned white foals,
this is a filly out of CR Fancy Dancer on 5/24/06.
From
the Oldenburg registered mare, Caribbean Native, another flashy patterned colt
born in April 2006.

2006 beautifully conformed Thoroughbred colt
out of the bay mare Buffina.
First 2007 foal is another outstanding Paint
Thoroughbred stallion prospect born out of Texas Quickstepper.
Don’t
miss your chance to Breed
Thoroughbreds of the Future with Arctic White and Shadow Mountain Stables.
