Spectacular Exotic Thoroughbred For Sale

Gold of El Dorado, a champion quality palomino JC registered Thoroughbred gelding for sale out of Arctic White's dam, Tropicana Anna.  "Golden " was sired by the famous 16.3 hh Thoroughbred cremello stallion RFF El Dorado Born in June of 2006, Golden has, just this month, turned two; and, at 16.1 he will be one over-the-top extraordinary champion.  Jan was there to watch Golden take his first rider.  Golden surprised everyone. Jan said, "I've never seen anything like this. He gave to the bit, dropped his head, had a care less attitude about the world around him, went into the rider,. like he'd done it for months."

You're looking at him on his 12th ride here, and its exactly how he took to his job Day One. Its amazing! His style is natural not trained. Has to be -- to have done it by himself--- first ride! Imagine him as a five-year-old! His dressage presence is unmistakable. Golden will approach a fence and want to know it. He has bone, is forwardGolden Training Day 16 too Mark.jpg (445103 bytes) and has a lovely top line with loads of lift. We are so amazed with this horse we are traveling all the way to Canada to breed again. If you click on his grandsire, Glitter Please , you will see the presence that comes from Gulden's genetics. There are no other champions on the rise anywhere that will touch this horse. Golden will be tall, not quite 17 hh, and destined for greatness. He has the stretch, -- we have pictures of that too ---he flows with the smooth suspension and movement dressage judges need to see, to mark for, and professional enthusiasts or seasoned trainers know exactly what we mean.

Golden training 16 Mark.jpg (124170 bytes)Golden has already started making his way up and out.  Look for him at the Santa Cruz Fairground in July. It's totally amazing. One month of training and he's already ready for his first show -- and has to wait a month to get in.  The trainer has stated he has never seen a horse with such natural talent. He scratched his head the first time Golden took a rider, and he saw Golden drop, self collect, block out the world,  arch lift and give with suspension on board. Not at all surprising from the grandson of FEI Champion Glitter Please Offered for a limited time, only to a special home willing and able to take him to the Nationals, at $35,000.  He's perfect.

Thoroughbreds of the Future!

Jan Robbins had a dream of creating a place where people with discriminating taste could buy a quality Thoroughbred for eventing, sport, or pleasure that hadn't been a racetrack reject.  Her experience in traveling from one end of the state to the other looking at one horse at a time, convinced her that there should be a place where people can select from several Thoroughbreds of good temperament and breeding.  Horses with excellent  conformation and athletic ability that had been raised with natural communication,  love, and kindness.  Hence, in 2002, Shadow Mountain Stables was born.  Today, Jan and Shadow Mountain Stables have taken the program one step further, featuring a selection of rare exotic and flashy young Thoroughbreds for sale.   Please browse the following pages for information on our unique breeding program.  Every horse sold comes with a no risk satisfaction guarantee.
